Craig Long is an associate with the Walnut Creek office of Garcia Shaw APC. Mr. Long’s practice primarily includes first party claims investigations and litigated matters. Mr. Long is a member in good standing with the State Bar of California.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Long served as a police officer in the San Francisco Bay Area for more than a dozen years. As a Major Crimes Detective, he developed extensive investigative, interviewing, and case management experience. Mr. Long also served as a logistics officer in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, where he attained the rank of Captain. In this capacity, he served as a Company Commander, leading a company of more than 150 Marines and Sailors.

Mr. Long received his law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law, where he earned a Privacy Law Certificate with Honors. Prior to law school, he graduated from California State University, East Bay with a double major in Political Science and Economics and a minor in Psychology. His studies included concentrations in Public Affairs and Administration and Social Science Economics.
